Beatus - chamber choir

Beatus was formed in 2001, by Terence R Bailey, specifically to perform a ‘Requiem’ he had written in honour of his parents.  Formed initially from a group of friends from various walks of life, the choir has been active ever since.

Beatus is a 14 voice a Capella chamber choir, performing choral music both old and new, sacred and secular.

Three to four concerts are given each year.  Rehearsals are at Yoxall Church every other Tuesday evening in term time, with the option of extra rehearsals before concerts.

We aim to perform a wide range of choral music and are unafraid to include unusual and challenging items in our repertoire.
